Who Plays on Saints Field?
The Saints aren’t the only team to play on Saints Field. During the spring, the ballpark is home to our high school varsity team, the Dassel-Cokato Chargers. During the summer months, the yard is host to D-C’s many youth teams, and also plays host to special events such as collegiate events, youth baseball camps, and more!
The Pumpkin Patch
The list of volunteers that have helped make Saints Field one of the premier ballparks in the state is quite lengthy. The official grounds crew at Saints Field is the Pumpkin Patch. Appropriately dressed in bright orange shirts, the Patch is headed by “The Great Pumpkin”, Cole Flick and his wife, Beth. If you see someone at the ballpark dressed in orange, it’s probably a member of the Pumpkin Patch working to keep the yard #TIGHT!
Saints Field Staff
It’s not just the grounds crew that deserves appreciation. Saints Field operates smoothly from the help of some key volunteer staff members. Whether it’s Amber’s crew in the concession stand, the Lions Club in the beer garden, announcer Steve Hanson and his crew in the press box, or the many significant others, family, and friends of the Saints players, there are countless great people that make game day happen on Saints Field.
